The team from Waterloo Music loves to get involved in community events in our town and Yeovil Beer Festival 2017 was the perfect opportunity. We were delighted to have been ‘Gold Sponsors’ of the festival and have our name on the Waterloo Acoustic Stage. Many of our musician friends performed over the two-day beer and music festival, not least our own Hundred Days (pictured) who gave a great performance, an acoustic set in a change from their usual heavier rock style.
This was the 5th annual YBF and arranged by Yeovil Ales in conjunction with Yeovil Round Table and Yeovil Lions Club. Showcasing 82 craft ales and 25 artisan ciders, the annual event, now back at Westlands, really was superbly organised and run. We wait to hear how much was raised for charity this year, judging by the sell-out of nearly all of the barrels, we have high hopes. Well done to all of the volunteers who make this spectacular event possible each year and a special shout out from all of us at Waterloo Music to the musicians and stage crew who perform, unpaid, to bring us superb local, live music.
