WM on tour! Home Farm Fest 2017

What a weekend we had! The WM team was out in force last weekend, running our marquee at Home Farm Festival, a charity music festival held close to Yeovil in Somerset. It’s organised annually to raise funds for School In A Bag, the main initiative of the Piers Simon Appeal.
It was a joy to catch up with so many of our local customers, bands and soloists, to hear some really inspired music and to be with a thoroughly lovely bunch of people for the weekend. The organisers and volunteers brought us an amazing weekend, 3 days, 120 acts on 6 stages, traders, kids activities and even managed to hold back the rain for most of the weekend.

We were delighted to share our marquee with a few other, Yeovil based organisations, namely Yeovil College, Battens Solicitors and Love Yeovil, all of whom were delighted to be supporting this amazing cause and having a presence at the event. Thank you to each of these organisations.

Members of the Waterloo Music team also managed some of the stages, ran the band merchandise stall, supplied “emergency” cables, sticks, strings etc, performed on stage themselves and spoke to many, many customers about instruments, lessons and music in general. It was, as always, so worthwhile!

Thanks to HFF team for hosting us, to all the musicians and volunteers who make it possible and to all who visited us in our WM Marquee.
